Am I the last one on the planet to discover Neil Gaiman? Of course I knew who he was, but I hadn't actually read anything by him until I sort of accidentally picked up a copy of Anansi Boys two weeks ago. By the time I hit page 2, I was hooked. Now I'm reading everything including his blog, so how could I not buy this t-shirt? The shirt, by the way, is great. Excellent quality & nicely printed. It's all good!
I'd been waiting for this shirt in a girlie style and ordered it as soon as I saw it was out. Absolutely love it and take it with me everywhere. I just wore it in Iceland, while riding an Icelandic horse through a lava field. For cool weather, I layer this over a long sleeved black logo-less t-shirt, and it's like having a LS version, too.
Love this shirt, I help out at the local (small town) book store and when I wear this I always sell a Americans Gods book...
'American Gods' conjured a fantastic world with beautifully executed prose and the above tee-shirt makes fine use of this. The print quality is good - meaning the text an be read, and it is nice to have something written across the front of a tee that isn't just a tedious slogan. The tee is also good quality and well cut and arrived really soon after I placed the order, so all in all I am 100%, grinning like a cheshire cat, happy.
I told my mother that if she was wondering what I wanted for Christmas, this shirt would make me so super ultra happy that I might vomit rainbows.
She now thinks I'm posessed...The point being, I'm getting the shirt. The T-shirt came as it said, which is wonderful, as it comes from one of the book's, "American Gods", more memorable quotes. It's a simple idea that's well played and the t-shirt fits rather well.
If you're a fan of the book the t-shirt shall not disappoint. I do hope this leads to more quotes on t-shirts much like the "Analog girl living in a digital world" that was used on a button that came with my order (which was a surprising and warming touch). |
